Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has shared fresh details about his upcoming Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, scheduled for February 8, highlighting his excitement and gratitude ahead of the major event, reports Baltimore Chronicle Following his recent triple Grammy victories, Bad Bunny described the experience as a moment to enjoy fully, emphasizing that both he and the production team intend to have fun during the performance.

The Grammy-winning artist explained that his focus is on embracing the present and avoiding pressure. “I’m just trying to enjoy it. I know I’m gonna have fun. All the crew, all the people, they’re going to have fun that day,” he said during a press conference at Moscone Center West in San Francisco on February 5, 2026. Bad Bunny remained discreet about specific elements of the halftime show, particularly when asked about potential guest appearances, responding with a smile that he could not reveal any surprises.

This Super Bowl marks Bad Bunny’s second appearance on the NFL stage. He previously performed as a guest alongside Jennifer Lopez and Shakira during the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020. While he initially doubted returning as a headliner, Bad Bunny credited the encouragement of friends and collaborators in bringing the opportunity to fruition. “I was never looking for this. My biggest pleasure is to create, have fun doing it and connect with the people. When I drop a song … and people connect with me, that’s the best feeling,” he explained.

Reflecting on his recent accolades, including the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny noted that the project reinforced his connection to his roots and culture. He emphasized that his focus is not on awards or titles but on artistic authenticity and connecting with his audience. “I wasn’t looking for the album of the year at the Grammys, also at the Latin Grammys. I also wasn’t looking to perform at [the] Super Bowl halftime show, and I just was looking [to] connect with my roots, connect with my people more than ever, connect with myself, with my history, with my culture,” he said.

In preparing for the halftime performance, Bad Bunny shared that he is balancing a healthy diet with occasional indulgences like smash-burgers. The artist also teased fans with a January trailer featuring him dancing to his hit BAILE INoLVIDABLE, giving a glimpse of the high-energy choreography expected during the live show. His recent sold-out residency, No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui, in Puerto Rico may serve as inspiration for staging and performance dynamics.

While anticipation grows for Sunday’s performance, the choice of Bad Bunny as headliner has drawn criticism from some conservative groups. Opposition has focused on his Spanish-language repertoire, artistic style, and vocal advocacy for immigrants in the United States. Following the announcement, Turning Point USA promoted a counter-event titled The All-American Halftime Show, featuring Kid Rock.
