After an extensive eight-year beta, the official 1.0 release of Escape from Tarkov is finally arriving, and gamers are eagerly counting down the final hours. The long-awaited launch is scheduled for November 15 through Battlestate Games’ standard client, coinciding with its debut on Steam, reports Baltimore Chronicle. This milestone marks the full release of one of the most influential extraction shooters, giving players across the globe the opportunity to experience Tarkov without beta limitations.
Players should note that purchasing the Steam version will require buying the game again if they want the full integration with Valve features, including friends list synchronization, achievements, and profile activity tracking. Those unconcerned with these Steam-specific features can continue using the traditional Battlestate client without interruption. Battlestate has also provided a detailed FAQ outlining how to link existing accounts and carry over character progression, which will be essential for both returning players and newcomers preparing for the 1.0 launch.
Escape from Tarkov 1.0 will officially go live on Saturday, November 15, at 3 a.m. PST via the Battlestate client, with Steam access following a few hours earlier due to client update timing. Launch times across major time zones are as follows: 3 a.m. PST in Los Angeles, 6 a.m. EST in New York, 8 a.m. BRT in São Paulo, 11 a.m. GMT in London, 12 p.m. CET in Berlin, 10 p.m. AEDT in Sydney, and 12 a.m. NZDT on November 16 in Auckland. For players outside these regions, Battlestate has shared a calendar tool that allows users to input their city and easily calculate local server availability.
