Currently, 19 victims have been reported as a result of the unprecedented shelling on January 23, organized by Russian forces, as noted by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Andrey Kostin.

The main blow fell on the Kharkov region, where lives were lost 15 people. In the Kherson region, the death toll was three, and in the Dnepropetrovsk region one person fell victim to aggressive actions.

In addition, more than 120 local residents were injured during the hostilities, with more than 70 of them in critical condition in the Kharkov region region.

It is worth noting that tragic events of this kind cast doubt on the statements of Russian representatives about alleged “precision strikes” on military targets and emphasize the urgent need for world intervention to protect civilians.
