When can the Rada consider the mobilization bill in the second reading: Stefanchuk’s statement

Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said that consideration of the bill on mobilization in the second reading will take place no earlier than February 21. In addition, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Defense and Security should have time to familiarize itself with the amendments from people’s deputies.

On the telethon, he recalled that people’s deputies have 14 days between the first and second readings of the draft law to amend the document.

«As soon as the committee is ready, but still it will not be earlier than February 21, because this is the last day , when can amendments to this draft law be submitted», — Ruslan Stefanchuk reported.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada added that the list of amendments to the bill is quite large, and therefore the committee needs time to analyze and take them into account.
