At a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, shared plans for clearing mines in the de-occupied Kherson region.
< p>“In August (2023 – ed.) we were told that we would take 10 years to clear mines. Now, thanks to the DSNS, the police, and the Armed Forces, we must clear the right bank of mines by the end of next 2025,” Prokudin emphasized.

He said that 1,100 sappers are working in the region and have already cleared 245 thousand hectares of mines.
Also in the Kherson region, farmers were given a hundred large hangars for storage grains, and they are already being installed.
In addition, the implementation of the “Side by Side” program continues in the Kherson region, within the framework of which 15 regions have rebuilt 1,130 houses.
