Yuri Maksimov's team won important points in the fight for a place in European competition next season.
Dnepr-1beat Krivbass in the match of the 27th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at the Dnepr Arena in Dnepr ended with the score 1:0.
The home team scored the only goal in this meeting in the second half. In the 57th minute, 18-year-old striker Ramik Gadzhiev received a pass from Valentin Rubchinsky and sent the ball into the far corner from outside the penalty area.
Note that the start of the match was delayed by 35 minutes due to the threat of a missile attack from the Russian occupiers. There were two more air raid warnings already during the match itself – one during the break, and the other closer to the end of the second half.

Thus, Dnepr-1 interrupted its four-match winless streak in the UPL.
Yuri Maksimov's team with 48 points ranks fourth in the standings and is three points ahead of Rukh in the fight to qualify for the European Cup for the next season. “Krivbass” with 54 points remained in third position.
In the next round of the UPL, the Dnipro team will meet “Alexandria” away on May 12, and Yuriy Vernidub’s team will host “Polesie” on the same day.
