How writes “NBN” with reference to the Russian media, Sergei Lavrov attacked Vladimir Zelensky’s proposals for “peace” even before Ukraine officially presented them to Russia.
As far as we know, on February 25, the President of Ukraine promised to hold the first summit within the framework of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, following which a plan for resolving the war should be developed. After finalization, they want to present the document to Russia, as the leader of our country specified then.
However, today, February 27, Sergei Lavrov commented on this kind of intention during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Yemen, words about the ultimatum.
Russian media commented on Lavrov as follows:
Zelensky never refused the ultimatum. His entire ten-point formula was and remains an obvious ultimatum.
Also, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry accused the capital of Ukraine of the fact that the latter, on the advice of Europe, is trying to involve in the discussion of “this paper” as much as possible more countries. Sergei Lavrov called the summit itself a “gathering” around the Kyiv “Formula of Peace”, the purpose of which is “family photos”.
