As Ukrinform reports, KOVA head Ruslan Kravchenko agreed on this with Hansen during a meeting in Salt Lake City (Utah), the KOVA press service reports.
“Starting next week we will begin a detailed analysis of all documentation. We are engaging an international coalition of architects and engineers of medical buildings. The facility will become a standard for future rehabilitation centers both in Ukraine and in other countries of the world affected by the war. This modern center will satisfy both physical and psychological needs, – noticed the head of KOVA.
According to him, the project requires considerable investment, so for its implementation it is necessary to attract a circle of philanthropists, governmental, non-governmental organizations under the leadership of the Hansen Mission in Ukraine Foundation.
Kravchenko also said that another project that is planned to be implemented in the Kyiv region is the return to quality education of 10 thousand schoolchildren.

“There are plans to set up shelters in educational institutions. The possibility of completing the construction of educational institutions, which began even before the full-scale invasion, will also be considered, – noted Kravchenko.
It is noted that one of the schools will be built in the village of Tarasovka in the “Hansen Town” until September 1, 2025 This is a modern establishment with an area of about 6.5 thousand square meters. m, designed for 700 children, it will have 24 classrooms, a library, a gym, a shelter, two sports courts, a conference room.
In addition, the head of KOVA said that during the meeting they also discussed the expansion of the existing charitable restoration program “Phoenix”.
“First of all, it is planned to rebuild 30 houses in Andreevka and 30 houses in Moshchun. For every restoration certificate received, the fund provides an additional $30,000 for home restoration. It is also planned to expand the program to apartments, including 77 low-income families who have certificates for the purchase of new houses under the “Restoration” program will receive additional funding from the Fund for the purchase of modern renovated apartments on Sofievskaya Borshchagovka, – added Kravchenko.
In addition, together with representatives of the fund, the head of KOVA visited the Biomerics company, which is one of the leaders in the production of medical equipment, in particular for surgical operations. The company, in order to support Ukraine, will send a container with such equipment to medical institutions in the Kyiv region in May of this year, which will number about a million units.
“The American philanthropist began helping Ukrainians with targeted assistance. Today it is implementing colossal comprehensive programs in Ukraine, – noted Kravchenko.
In the Kyiv region, the Hansen Mission in Ukraine charity foundation implements three social projects, this is housing for internally displaced persons, with a total capacity of 894 apartments.
In particular, the “Hansen Town” was built in the village of Tarasovka. Two stages of housing have already been commissioned, two more will be completed by the end of July and by the end of October this year.
In addition, 259 apartments have been purchased in the village of Sofievskaya Borshchagovka, and a “Miracle Mistechko” has been built in the village of Kolonshchyna. – a complex of individual residential buildings for senior citizens. The first stage has already been populated, construction of the second stage for 110 families is beginning.

Also, the head of KOVA invited Hansen to the International Summit of Cities and Regions, which will be held soon in Kiev.
As part of his visit to Utah, Kravchenko met with the mayor of Salt Lake City Jenny Wilson, business representatives, and also invited state entrepreneurs to open representative offices of their companies in the Kyiv region.
As Ukrinform reported, the head of KOVA Kravchenko and the Governor of Washington State Jay Inslee signed a memorandum of cooperation between regions.
